Description: Academic self-efficacy is the student's confidence or belief in their ability to succeed. Research shows that high student self-efficacy is strongly related to class participation, exam performance, decreased academic dishonesty, and pursuing their career. In this workshop, faculty can learn multiple ways to increase student self-efficacy, encourage students to participate in class, and how it will impact student’s perception and outcomes.
