HCC Beat - René Alvarado Exhibition

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the West Loop Gallery presents René Alvarado: Dual Identity.  The exhibition features twelve paintings by San Angelo artist, René Alvarado. Alvarado's work is defined by his familial roots in northern Mexico and by the subtle, mystical environment of his adopted home in west Texas.   His creative process is immersed in this dual identity.  The exhibition opened with an artist's reception on September 14 and continues through October 26, 2017.
