From Ruth Dunn
It is of vital importance to improve teaching and learning at Houston Community College so each Spring and Fall Semester you get to evaluate me using our online form EGLS3 –Evaluation for Greater Learning Student Survey System. I value your insight into what should be changed to increase your knowledge/learning for each Sociology course you take.
Because you are the primary stakeholders in your own education, I use your suggestions in order to center my teaching around you, the student. I learn from you as much or more than you learn from me, because education is a reciprocal process between teacher and student. By participating in this survey you can make things better for yourself and future students.
Be Very Specific with Your Answers about This Course, Please
What’s good? What’s bad? What worked? What didn’t work? What did you like? What did you not like? What would you change about this course? That includes my teaching.
Please be as specific as you can with your answers to the questions. Don’t write “I hate her!” Tell me why so that I can change. Don’t write “I love her!” Tell me why—what caught your imagination that I should keep on doing?
This survey is anonymous and I do not see the results until the next semester. I really do use this information to help ME become a better teacher for you and I am grateful for your input.
Thank you for your participation!
