Video quizzes allow you to insert question(s) in media. Let’s begin by selecting My Media within you course shell. Once your media is displayed, click on Add New. In the drop-down menu select Video Quiz. On the editor page you have the option of Uploading Media. Or select your own media. Choose a video and click on select to the right of the video. You have the option of changing the default setting for the quiz. Under details you can enter the quiz name. Change the welcome message. Allow the viewer to download the questions before the quiz. And whether not you want the instructions to show. Under the score section, you have the option to show the score and the answers at the end of the quiz. Under experience, you can allow the viewer to change their answers before submitting the quiz. And you can allow them to skip forward. Now let’s add questions to the video you selected. Below the video locate the timeline. Click and hold the timeline selector and slide it to the position on the timeline in which you would like to insert a question. Next, click on Add Question. Here you have the option of inserting a multiple choice, a Reflection Point, True or False, or an open-ended question. Let’s choose multiple choice. In the add a question section, is where you will type your question. In the very first section under add question is where you will type the correct answer. The check box to the right of the correct answer, highlighted in green, indicates this is the correct answer. The next box is where you will place an incorrect answer. You can add additional answers by select the plus button and enter another answer. Once you have your answers entered, you can change the order of the answers appear. It’s important that you do so, that way the correct answer does not always appear first. To move the answers, click to the left of the answer and drag it to the desired position. This places the correct answer second. Click on save. You will see your first question here on the timeline. To preview the quiz, select preview. When you click on play, you will see the message board first. Click continue. The quiz will begin. Fast forwarding the quiz, you will see the first question in quiz. At the end of the quiz you will see the option to change answer selection or submit. Once submitted, the score will appear. Click on escape. Next click done. This concludes, creating in-video quizzes.
