Making Playlists in Media Gallery
Making playlists in Media Gallery can simplify setting up your course shell. You will begin by selecting Media Gallery within your course shell. Next click on Channel Actions and from the drop-down menu, select edit. From the Edit Media Gallery, click on the Playlists tab. Here you will select Create Channel Playlist. Next you will enter a name for your playlist. Enter a description of the playlist for your recollection. You have the option of adding tags for the convenience of quickly locating the playlist. Click on Add. Now you are ready to add media to your playlist. Click on Add to Playlist. Here you have a selection to choose from your media within your Gallery to choose from. You can now select media in this course you would like to add to your playlist by clicking on the plus icon next to the media you would like to include in your playlist. If you would like to remove the media, you can do so by selecting remove from the menu bar to the right of the selected media or simply click on the check box to the right to right of the media. You have the option of rearranging the media by clicking on the move position icon to the left of the media and dragging the media to the desired position. Once you are satisfied with the media for you have selected for your playlist, click on save. Select Back to Media Gallery. Your playlist is now saved. Now your playlist appears on your Media Gallery home page, which is now your default Home page for your Media Gallery. Once you set up a playlist, it takes precedence of your media gallery’s home page. To see all your media in the gallery, you can click on the media tab which will show your media in your gallery. Now you are one step closer to making your course shell more manageable. Congratulations on creating your playlist.
